West Hollywood

This modern condominium started as a beautifully proportioned white box. Architecturally devoid of ornament we wanted to bring some character to the space while maintaining the modern simplicity of the building. The client loves the tension between old and new so we started by grounding the home with a version of a classically patterned parquet wood floor in a high gloss finish which brought an elegance and sophistication to the home. In the primary bedroom we used old school sisal wallcovering but in a modern sapphire blue hue to create a cozy place for sleep and relaxation. We opted to blend vintage, modern, and custom furnishings throughout, mirroring the visual contrast the client sought. The result was a harmonious fusion of classic and contemporary elements, infusing the space with a unique charm and timeless appeal.
