Hollywood Hills
Nestled high up in the Hollywood hills this sixties style ranch home was in need of some personality. Embracing the indoor/outdoor California aesthetic we brightened the ground floor entertaining spaces by covering the walls in an organic clay. This material bounced the abundant natural light throughout the space and provided some dimensionality to the walls. For furnishings and finishes on this level we chose a softer color palette which helped to highlight the client’s wonderful eclectic art collection. Finally for the smaller personal spaces we had a little fun with color and materials to imbue those areas with a sense of the unexpected.
